LubriSyn
Is The Premium Oral Hyaluronic Acid (HA) On The Market Today!
|
 |
|
|
 |
What is LubriSyn?Hyaluronic acid (HA) occurs naturally in the joints of all mammals. LubriSyn is an oral form of HA
administered daily to maintain consistent levels in the body. LubriSyn maintains joint health, quickly increasing mobility
and sustaining joint stability. When horses train and exercise
the synovial fluid in their joints breaks down more quickly. A daily dose of LubriSyn helps restore the viscosity of that
cushioning fluid. As horses age, they suffer the loss of HA levels, increasing the potential for inflammation and arthritis.
LubriSyn sustains the integrity of joint fluid, helping reduce the need for costly and painful HA injections

How do I dose my horse? We recommend starting your LubriSyn regimen with a double dose (one ounce)
for at least five to ten days. After that, a half-ounce dose will suffice. In some horses, depending on their size and condition,
the double dose can be extended, or re-introduced. In case of stressful events - such as shipping or performance - you
can return to the double dose. Safety studies indicate that you can dose at five times the recommended dose without any side
effects! Both the pints and the quarts have a measuring reservoir that is marked in milliliters and ounces. Your first
gallon comes with a free pump, which you can use to measure doses. You can dose your horse by top-dressing their daily feed, or by squirting LubriSyn directly into their mouths.
Horses like the taste, and LubriSyn is easy to use every day.

What is LubriSyn made of?LubriSyn is an odorless, tasteless, colorless oral liquid with hyaluronic
acid as its main component. Unlike other hyaluronic acid products derived from sources such as rooster combs, LubriSyn is
extracted from a microbial source. This method keeps it free from dermatan, chondroitin sulfate and other glycosaminoglycan
contamination that may be found in other HA products. Is LubriSyn Safe? In a LubriSyn
safety study, 18 mares were randomly assigned to one of three treatment groups in a blind study lasting 90 days: - One group received 45ml of LubriSyn (3 times the recommended level)
- A second group received 75ml of LubriSyn (5 times the recommended level)
- The third group received 45ml of a placebo
All product was given once daily by mouth. Mares were lactating and/or pregnant throughout the study.
Complete blood counts (CBC) and serum chemistry were performed biweekly throughout the study. Physical examinations and body
condition scores were conducted biweekly by a veterinarian. There were no adverse events during the study.

The Science
Why gamble with the health of your horses? There
may be less expensive, nutritionally inferior liquid HA products available. There is no product more widely used by equine
athletes, or more respected by owners, trainers and vets alike than LubriSyn. Click here to download a copy of "Will The Real Hyaluronan Please
Stand Up?", from the Journal Of Applied Nutrition, Volume 54, Number 1, 2004, explaining why our higher molecular weight
makes us the equine market leader. Chemistry: Sodium hyaluronate, hyaluronic acid,
hyaluronan and HA are terms for the same glycosaminoglycan that can exist in different forms depending on their chemical environment.
Because LubriSyn (sodium hyaluronate) is extracted from a microbial source, it is free of dermatan, chondroitin sulfate
and other glycosaminoglycan contamination. Pharmacology: HA is highly bio-compatible and bio-degradable. It regulates normal cellular
constituents, decreasing the impact of exudation, enzyme release and subsequent degradation of joint integrity. Contraindications: There are no known contraindications for the use of LubriSyn oral liquid in horses. Side Effects: There have
been no local or systemic side effects observed in the field trials
